Restaurants
There are plenty of fine dining experiences to choose from in and around the Omni residences. Here are just a few:
Bob's Steak & Chop House
Bob’s Steak & Chop House offers classic fine dining with Texas-sized steaks. Try to look dainty and sophisticated with a plate overflowing with 28-ounce Prime Porterhouse steak or 20-ounce veal Porterhouse chop. You can’t go wrong with onion rings and creamed corn. Their seafood entrees include broiled Verlasso salmon and South African lobster tails. They have a premier wine list. Or enjoy a one of Bob’s signature cocktails. Leave some room for Bob’s classic bread pudding with Grand Marnier caramel sauce. Bob's steak & chop house menu.
The Capital Grille
Another excellent steakhouse about a quarter of a mile from the Omni is The Capital Grille. Their menu includes more interesting fare like Tuna Tartare with Avocado, Mango and Sriracha or fresh oysters on the half shell served on ice with mignonette sauce. That’s just to whet your appetite. The Capital Grille has classic steakhouse entrees with a twist, like Sliced Filet Mignon with Cipollini Onions, Wild Mushrooms and Fig Essence. For dessert, try their flourless chocolate espresso cake with fresh raspberries. If you prefer to char your own beef, they sell freshly butchered cuts like bone-in, dry-aged New York strip and filet mignon. Take it home along with their signature steak sauce.
GRACE Modern American Classics
We love sauce on our beef. GRACE is gracious enough to let you choose: Béarnaise, chimichurri, espresso horseradish, or cognac peppercorn marrow. Some sound a bit exotic, but don’t worry, you’re in good hands with Executive Chef Blaine Staniford. They offer a raw bar and awesome starters like lamb belly dumplings. For you old school steak diners, enjoy French onion soup and a Prime strip. Desserts include coconut cream pie and caramel pudding.
May We Recommend
Sundance Square is an entertainment smorgasbord in downtown Fort Worth. First there’s Simply Fondue. Man, we love that stuff. The real fun is the live theatre, music, and dance. Bass Performance Hall is considered one of the finest concert halls in the United States. It is home to Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Texas Ballet Theater, and the Fort Worth Opera Festival. The Jubilee theatre offers an array of comedies, dramas, musicals, and more. Get your belly shaking at Hyena’s – the longest running comedy nightclub in Fort Worth. Ron White, Lewis Black, and Tommy Chong have all performed there. There’s also plenty of dining and shopping. And fondue. Did we tell you about the fondue?
Enjoy the High Life
The Omni Residences provide you with an upscale hotel experience without actually living in a hotel. It’s your home – you can paint the walls, display your collection of baseball memorabilia, and hang your clothes to dry on your Peloton. Then head out the door and enjoy a massage, a live show, a dry-aged steak – or just a nice walk around downtown Fort Worth with a Starbucks in your hand. And, honestly, a luxury condo for under a mil? Ah, the high life.
